City Bar for City Girls

Kanaloa is a new ‘Polynesian Tiki bar’ that will be offering a wide variety of exotic dishes and cocktails in a relaxed atmosphere with a Hawaiian theme. The bar opens on 9th November in Shoe Lane, St. Paul’s, and will be serving pan-Asian cuisine and drinks from award-winning bartender Rich Hunt.

From the same team behind the Mahiki Club on Dover Street, Mayfair, the Kanaloa bar is aimed at women working in the city, and is rumoured to be offering incentives such as free entry, manicures, massages and makeovers. In an area dominated by men, the bar’s owners believe they have found a niche audience to tap into.

The Arbuturian will be sending in our very own cavalry of ladies-who-dine to check it out. Watch this space.
