Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, one of the UK’s best loved animal welfare charities, is celebrating its milestone 150th anniversary with an exclusive Collars & Coats Ball. The prestigious event will take place amidst the grandeur of neighbouring iconic landmark, Battersea Power Station, on Thursday 25th November 2010.
The ball, in the presence of HRH Prince Michael of Kent GCVO, the President of Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, will celebrate the charity’s unparalleled work in the field of animal welfare. This year’s red carpet promises to dazzle with a high-profile guest list of international A-list celebrities and VIPs as they come together to show their support for the organisation. Tickets for tables at the event are available now, starting at £5,000.
The star-studded evening will open with a unique and memorable welcome of a guard of honour from 150 Battersea dogs and their handlers, followed by a champagne reception, gourmet banquet, and a line-up of top billing entertainment including rock legends Roger Daltry, Roger Taylor and Patti Russo. Underlying the celebration is the more serious business of raising vital funds in an exclusive money-can’t-buy auction with an array of luxury prizes donated by the charity’s supporters.
Tickets for the Collars & Coats Ball can be purchased by calling 020 8476 8677 or visiting the website.
