Bespoke British Jewellers W&W are transforming their Battersea studio into a Christmas pop-up shop, which will exclusively feature jewellery by designer Laura Gravestock. Already listed in the Professional Jewellers Hot 100 list, Gravestock’s pieces are a fusion of contemporary cool, retro opulence and intricate and decorative Moorish architectural influences.
From the playful ‘Written’ collection (a favourite with the UK fashion press), featuring bracelets, earrings and necklaces with cheeky, irreverent slogans, to her ‘Promise’ collection, which echoed the intricate fretwork of Berber and Islamic style, Gravestock’s work is distinctive and highly wearable as a statement piece or on its own. The bling-tastic element steps up a notch with the ‘Majestic’ collection, inspired by the splendour of the Elizabethan era, where only nobility and the upper classes were able to frost themselves in striking jewellery designs. Stand-out pieces include the amethyst cocktail ring and beaded design luxe thread-through earrings.
So if you’re wondering what to buy your mother-in-law for Christmas, how about the ‘Love’ or ‘Hate’ bracelet? We’ll let you decide which…
The W&W pop-up will run from November 28th to December 23rd at 19 Webb’s Rd, London SW11 6RU. For more information, visit their website.
