Celebrating its 6th year, the annual art fair, Masterpiece London, has become one of the most important art, social and charity events of the year and will return to the spectacular South Grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea from 25 June – 1 July, with a glittering fund-raising Art Gala in aid of the NSPCC taking place on 30 June (tickets £100) including a champagne reception, live entertainment and a silent auction.

At the heart of the summer season, Masterpiece London presents over 150 world-renowned antique and fine art dealers who display their nigh-on priceless collectibles, dating from antiquity through to the contemporary within a custom built pavilion. £100 million worth of art was sold last year with over 35,000 visitors attending over eight days.

This unparalleled forum of excellence offers the opportunity of purchasing everything from a first edition Casino Royale to an eye-popping diamond tiara or an imposing grandfather clock for your hallway. For those who have recently acquired a generous inheritance or lottery win, the helpful programme of expert talks and tours will provide a unique insight into what it means to become a serious collector.

With all works stringently vetted by a committee of experts before the fair opens to ensure all purchases are made with confidence, you can meet with international specialists from a diverse range of disciplines and examine the rarest works available in the current market. This veritable treasure-trove evolves every year with new exhibitors announced for 2015 including the renowned fine art gallery Richard Green, David Gill Galleries, Parisian decorative arts dealer, Kraemer Gallery, Van Cleef & Arpels, Jacques de la Béraudière and Nilufar.

Even if you are just in the mood for window shopping this is the perfect event to indulge your passion for the finer things in life. Visitors can also enjoy informal dining at The Mount Street Deli, a full à la carte menu at Le Caprice, a lobster dinner at Scott’s Seafood & Champagne Bar or classic cocktails at The Ivy Bar.
