Five Ways to Wear a Pocket Square

“It’s hip to be square,” sang Huey Lewis and the News, not only one of my favourite soft-rock anthems, but also oddly prescient in predicting the revival of the pocket square as a vital colour-pop accessory, particularly in the increasing absence of the tie (and let’s not forget that Huey’s ditty was revered by a certain Patrick Bateman, no slouch in the serial killer style stakes himself). There perennial question with the square, is, of course, how to fold – strictly geometric or floridly elaborate Hokusai wave style, aka the Pitti peacocks? These are the five most popular square deals, to emulate or elaborate on as you see fit.
