Yoko Ono’s Key To A Better Life For Swarovski

0

Yoko Ono has collaborated with Swarovski Elements on a limited-edition capsule collection of key-themed jewellery for AW.

The conceptual artist and peace activist, who created an art installation featuring a case of four glass keys in 1966 – ‘Glass Keys To Open The Sky’ (only available to serious art collectors), has now designed a ‘key-cut’ crystal range including a pavé bangle, a key pendant, a stackable ring, a crystal-studded collar necklace and a matching cuff.

The line has been designed around the theme of “Unlocking the Door to a Better Life,” and will be launched on September 6th during Vogue’s Fashion Night Out festivities at select Swarovski stores and swarovski.com. A heavily-crystal studded 71mm key on a silver chain design is also engraved with Ono’s signature and symbolises her hopes and dreams for the world:

Imagine a key that unlocks the door to the forest with its secrets, to the sky with its peacefulness, to the universe with its infinity, to a future with a promise for a better life.”
